Before placing a reservation, we ask you to review this policy thoroughly. When you reserve a charter with CollectiveAccessAtlas, you accept and consent to these refund conditions.

Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

More than 72 Hours Prior to Charter

100% Refund

Qualified for: Full refund less processing costs

Timeframe for Processing: 5-7 business days

Fees for Processing: €50 for credit card payments

Requirements: Cancellation must be submitted in written form via email or telephone communication

Between 24 to 72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Qualified for: Half of the full charter cost

Timeframe for Processing: 7-10 business days

Fees for Processing: €25 subtracted from the refund amount

Requirements: Must provide a valid justification; administrative charges apply

Less than 24 Hours Prior to Charter

No Refund

Qualified for: No opportunity for a refund

Exceptions: We may consider cases of emergencies

Alternatives: We may provide charter credit based on management's discretion

Requirements: Official proof necessary for emergency requests

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Weather Guarantee

Your safety is our utmost concern. Should the weather be deemed hazardous for the operation of the charter by our qualified captain, we offer several accommodating options:

  • Complete Refund: Issued if rebooking isn't an option
  • Reschedule: Move your charter to an alternative date at no extra charge
  • Charter Credit: Receive credit valid for one year from the original booking date

Weather Evaluation Process

The evaluation of weather involves:

  • Assessment of wind speeds and directions
  • Evaluation of wave height and maritime conditions
  • Visibility check and precipitation predictions
  • Official Coast Guard advisories and notices
  • Captain's evaluation of safety conditions

Timeframe for Decision: Decisions regarding weather cancellations are made at most four hours ahead of the scheduled departure time.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Emergency Conditions

We're sensitive to the fact that medical crises can arise unexpectedly. The conditions that may be deemed as emergencies include:

  • Sudden injury or illness requiring immediate hospital care
  • Loss of an immediate family member
  • Unanticipated military deployment or call to duty
  • Being summoned to jury duty or for legal reasons
  • Travel disruptions caused by natural disasters

Documentation Essential for Processing

To consider your request for a refund due to an emergency, please submit:

  • Evidence from a healthcare provider or hospitalisation reports
  • Mortuary certificate (if applicable)
  • Verified military directions
  • Legal summoning notices or jury notifications
  • Notices of travel constraints or emergency proclamations

Procedure: Emergency-related refunds are attended to within 3-5 business days upon receipt of all necessary paperwork.

Operational Cancellations

Technical Difficulties

If the assigned vessel is impaired by mechanical issues that cannot be rectified promptly:

  • Substitute Boat: We'll strive to supply a vessel of comparable standard
  • Full Refund: Provided when an equal substitute isn't available
  • Partial Refund: Issued when the alternative yacht pertains to a different fee schedule
  • Compensation: Additional recompense may be considered for the inconvenience

Crew Unavailability

In the infrequent occurrence that appropriately licensed crew is not available:

  • Efforts will be made to organize alternate crew members
  • Complete refund if the charter is unable to go ahead
  • Opportunity to reschedule without extra fees

Refund Processing

Payment Methods

Issuance back to the payment method used at the time of booking:

  • Credit Cards: Processed within 5-7 business days
  • Bank Transfers: Processed within 7-10 business days
  • Cash or Cheque: Processed within 3-5 business days

Procedures for Processing Charges

Credit Card Transactions

A fee of €50 for cancellations occurring more than 72 hours ahead of schedule

Bank Transfer Costs

A fee of €25 for every bank transfer refund

International Transactions

Additional charges might apply for transfers involving foreign banks

Charter Credits

Situations for Credit Issuance

In certain scenarios, charter credits may be presented instead of refunds:

  • Late cancellation notices under the 24-hour mark
  • Charters interrupted by weather conditions
  • Voluntary requests to postpone bookings
  • Disruptions due to operational issues

Stipulations for Charter Credits

  • Effectiveness: Valid for one year after issuance
  • Transferability: Credits are not transferrable to other individuals
  • Monetary Worth: Corresponds to the full value of the charter and is free from processing charges
  • Utilization: Applicable to whichever available charter you choose
  • Expiration: No renewal beyond the one-year mark

Partial Refunds for Incomplete Services

Service Disruptions

If the charter faces interruptions or curtails for reasons that fall within our authority:

  • Adjustment of refund to mirror the portion of the charter not used
  • Credit for another charter of equal value
  • Offering of complimentary services or benefits

Disruptions on Account of Guests

If a charter comes to a premature end on account of the behavior or safety violations of guests:

  • No return for the portion of the service not availed
  • The originally agreed upon amount remains payable
  • Potential for additional costs to be levied

Methods for Resolving Disputes

If there are disagreements with a refund assessment, you have the option to:

  • Seek an appraisal from our administrative team
  • Submit extra proof or substantiation
  • Look for resolution through customer protection entities
  • Involve judicial measures as supported by relevant laws

Procedure to Appeal for a Refund

Step 1: Initiate Contact

Your refund request should include:

  • Confirmation code of your booking
  • Scheduled date and time for your charter
  • Explanation for canceling
  • Appropriate documents of proof (where needed)
  • Your favored method for receiving the refund

Step 3: Verification and Completion

We will send acknowledgment of your appeal within 24 hours, evaluate it in accordance with our policy, and provide a ruling within 48 hours. Approved refunds will be processed in the stated time frames.

Crucial Remarks

  • Every plea for reimbursement should be made in written form
  • Reimbursements are issued in €, regardless of the currency used initially
  • We highly recommend securing travel insurance
  • This policy is susceptible to modifications with a notice period of 30 days
  • Refunds are influenced by relevant taxes and statutory regulations
